I desperately wanted a pet skunk when I was a child. I heard they can be de-skunked on Captain Kangaroo or some similar show. I tortured my parents... but never got one.

When we were little, we REALLY wanted the Barbie camper, but we were poor, so instead we got the Skipper tent. in fact, it was really a fake knock-off Skipper, but we were too little and stupid to notice or care. Especially considering we'd REALLY wanted the camper.
Anyhoo, it came with a little plastic skunk. The little plastic skunk did NOT come with a stink. That would have been really cool.
To sum up: tomato juice.
